Mati Kotz – Owner and Designer

Mati began working as a carpenter at the age of 16. He worked as an apprentice for two years before serving a three-year military service. After his military service, he went back to work as a carpenter at the age of 21 but now was no longer an apprentice. He moved to the United States of America in 1980 at the age of 23 and began working as a carpenter for a builder in Springfield, Virginia. In 1982, he started the construction company, Best Kuality Construction, with a partner. In 1986, Mati and his business partner parted and Mati continued to own and operate Best Kuality Construction independently. Best Kuality Construction continued to build and remodel homes until 1995. While running Best Kuality Construction, Mati started Elite Kitchens in 1993 with a partner. Elite Kitchens began as a small kitchen and bathroom showroom, offering installations, and has grown to the company it is today. Mati is an expert carpenter and homebuilder and uses these skills to run a business focused on doing jobs right and satisfying customers.

Olcay Akkaya has been working with kitchen and bath design since 2002. Her combination of hands-on experience and love of cooking qualifies her to help design and create kitchens that are highly functional and with beautiful aesthetics. She loves to share her experience, perspective and knowledge with her clients. She is known for her attentiveness to the needs of her clients; providing them with counsel on the choices and options available to them.
Olcay is an advocate of continuing learning and personal improvement. Her creative designs for residential remodeling projects have created many beautiful and elegant kitchens and created a portfolio full of many successful projects.
